César Wedemann

Product Director & General Manager

César Wedemann is a Product Director and General Manager at Nubank, the world's largest digital banking platform outside Asia. With over ten years of professional experience and having lived and worked in Brazil, Colombia, Germany, and China, he has been pivotal in scaling the Bank Account Product from zero to over 100 million customers in Brazil and leading its expansion into Mexico and Colombia.

Today, César leads a team of 100+ people who build core products and platforms that are extensible and reusable across multiple geographies and use cases, driving the foundational elements of Nubank's global banking operations. Beyond his role at Nubank, César contributes to the LatAm startup ecosystem as a limited partner in a venture capital fund, supporting innovative ventures across the region.

Previously, he served as CEO of the EdTech startup QEdu, led strategic projects at Easy Taxi (a ride-hailing app operating in 35 countries), and worked as a management consultant at Booz&Co.
